This Is Your Kid’s Opportunity to gain World Class Basketball Skills and Knowledge.
Our mission is simple – To help players reach their full potential on and off the court using the Makempay mentality.
As players, we, too, have been cut, benched, and overlooked in basketball. We also have first-hand experience with what it takes to take your child to the next level if that’s what they want. We have trained players at all levels and around the world.
At Makempay camps, your child will learn how to manage their skills and develop tools to help them become better leaders.
WHAT WE DO
- We focus on making a positive impact on and off the court.
- We give players ways to hold themselves accountable when practicing by themselves.
- We ensure each player is placed at a basket according to age and skill level so they never feel out of place.
- We make the camp fun and exciting.
- We give live corrections and feedback throughout each session based on the knowledge we’ve learned throughout our careers.
WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY
- We provide the “WHAT and the “HOW” to every skill, so players truly know how to perform each and every skill for the game.
- We don’t waste time to past time.
- We build up players’ confidence, not tear them down.
- We use our experience as professionals to help players with their mental approach.
- We offer leadership courses after each session and sometimes film breakdown
- We build connections with players through our online community so that they continue to benefit after the camp.

K-4th- 12:00-2:00 pm
5th-8th- 2:30-4:30 pm
9th-12th- 5-8 pm

Spend two days working with Tyren Johnson and Lee Toldson personally.
ABOUT
Tyren Johnson
Tyren Johnson is a 14 year international professional basketball player. Currently playing in Nancy, Fr in french first division professional league. During his career he has been very active of spreading his knowledge of the game during his offseason. He started doing camps internationally for the last seven years, and his main passion outside of his dedication to the game.
ABOUT
Lee Toldson
Lee Toldson is a camp director and one of the co-founders of Makempay No Excuess Academy. Lee Toldson played at the college level and has coached for over 15 years, from high school to pros. He has had much success as a coach and recently won a goal medal coaching the 16U basketball team at the United World Games in Europe. His passion for the game and love for mentoring/training kids have been his driving force in helping players grow and succeed.
